Covid 19 Precautionary measures

Guest health and safety is extremely important to us.  Current public health orders and recommendations are adhered to.  The following explains our current Covid 19 precautionary measures.

Lodge Guest Stays

Masking

Effective Thursday, November 19th mandatory masking in indoor public places in Saskatchewan is required.  This applies to our common spaces within the Lodge and includes the great room, hallways, guest kitchen and library/games area on the 2nd level.

Capacity

At this time we are only booking to full capacity if the booking is for a cohort/associated group.  Otherwise, we will limit our bookings to ensure guests have adequate space to physical distance comfortably.

Shared Guest Kitchen

To ensure your safety as well as the safety of other guests:

only one guest room or associated group is to be in the kitchen at a time

- Bleach, Lysol wipes, dish soap and hand soap are provided

- guests are required to clean/sanitize all touch surfaces before and after use

(ex. fridge handle, freezer handle, microwave handle, counters, faucets, light switches, and door handles)

- this space is also periodically cleaned/sanitized by us as well

- each room is provided settings of dishware/cutlery and a table that is only for that specific room's use

- each room is assigned space in the fridge and shelf space for dry goods

- shared cooking equipment is available to be used at your own discretion

Food Services
We are not providing any food services at this time so you will need to bring along food for all your meals.
Coffee/tea are not provided.  Coffee filters for the coffee makers are provided.
We recommend planning out your meals before you arrive and bringing along most of what you require to prepare them.  Advance prepared, prepackaged or takeout foods might be good options.
The closest dine in/takeout restaurant is a 15 minute drive away in Dorintosh and has the following hours of operation, M:closed, T&W: 11-9, Th,F,S&Su: 10-9.  The next closest restaurants are in Goodsoil, a 30 minute drive away and Meadow Lake, a 45 minute drive away.

Reducing Cross Contamination
As I think we all know by now, physical distancing of at least 2 meters, frequent and proper hand washing, covering your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze and not touching your eyes, nose or mouth are required practices.
We have tissues, hand sanitizer, Bleach, Lysol wipes and soap for your use during your stay.  We recommended that Lysol wipes be used on shared door knobs and light switches.
Our public washrooms are closed at this time and certain unnecessary areas of the Lodge are closed off.
Magazine's, books, games and puzzles are available for use at your own discretion.
